With 10 years of training and experience behind me I am qualified to teach Modern Jazz, Classical Ballet, Theatre Craft and Musical Theatre, Tap, Dance Exercise and Freestyle Dance.
I have recently passed my Fellowship in Modern Jazz with honours. The highest teaching qualification obtainable in dance and one of only four people in the country with this qualification.
Professional development is something I am totally committed to. It adds to the quality of teaching that is passed onto my students. My breadth of experience ranges from pre-school to adults for recreation and professional training. I have recently been privileged to teach senior students who are now going on to full time professional training.
I currently teach in Nelson and Upper Moutere, along with schools and in the community. The environment that is fostered throughout all the classes is quite unique; something I have taken from my training at Peta Spooner Academy of Dance.
