Peta Spooner Academy of Dance 2024
Welcome to 2025
A very warm welcome to new and existing students and families to the Peta Spooner Academy of Dance 2025. I trust you all are having a safe and happy holidays, I cannot wait to see everyone again! I am still tweaking my 2025 timetable, I promise it will be out soon. Enrolment Day will be on Thursday 30 January, 4:30pm-6pm. If you are unable to attend enrolment day, please download the 2025 enrolment form and bring along to your child’s first class (filled in please).Our first day back in the Studio will be on Tuesday, 4 February 2025 ⭐︎
There is excitement brewing for my senior students, who will be attending a Summer School at the the New Zealand School of Dance, 21-24 January.
Parents and students have worked incredibly hard fundraising for this trip.
*Next week on Tuesday & Wednesday 14 & 15 January, there will be an open workshop for all seniors (who are not on holiday).

10:30am for 1.5hr of conditioning

Half an hour for lunch

12:30pm for 1.5hr of Adv 1 Ballet
We will do a shared lunch on both days.
There is no charge for this workshop, though a donation towards the cleaning cupboard will be greatly appreciated. (Dettol, Toilet cleaner, Jif, Window Cleaner, Handy Andy, Hand Soap, Disinfectant - no toilet paper please). Any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Peta - 027 242 1442

Our Annual Show - this is our big event for the year for all our students - Show dates for 2025 are 14-15 August (we are packing in at the Theatre Royal Nelson on the 10 August).Please mark these dates in your calendar, more show information will be sent out during Term 1.
Exams will be in June and December.
Please make sure you child has the proper dance gear to start the year off - see Uniform Order Form below.
FEES are due in week 1 of each term. Friendly reminder that payment is per class a week that your child attends (ie 2 classes a week = $250 a term etc)
